Game of Thrones Fan Favorite Headed for Paramount+’s Yellowstone Spinoff

A Game Of Thrones star goes back in time…again.

Jerome Flynn, who played the Lannisters Bronn’s right-hand man on the HBO series Game of Thrones, now takes a trip back to 1923 in Paramount+’s latest Yellowstone spin-off. In the series, titled 1923, Flynn Banner will play Creighton, who was introduced by E! News as “the stubborn Scot and leader of the local sheep farmers”.

Of course, this isn’t the Game of Thrones fan favorite’s foray into television, as he’s also known for his work on Ripper Street, Black Mirror and Soldier, Soldier.

What can we expect from 1923? According to the streamer, 1923 is an “origin story” of the Dutton family, who were the main characters in Yellowstone and another prequel spinoff, 1883.

Two generations have now passed, and we will see the lives of the Duttons in the 1900s as they “fight to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition and an epidemic of cattle rustling,” according to the streamer, “all struggling under the cloud of.” Montana’s Great Depression, which preceded the nation by nearly a decade.”

Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren lead the series as the new Dutton patriarch and matriarch, Jacob Dutton and Cara Dutton, respectively.

The prequel also has stars Robert Patrick, Marley Shelton, James Badge Dale, Brian Geraghty, Julia Schlager, Michelle Randolph, Brandon Sklenarand newbie Aminah Nieves.
