Another bulldog has found its next home. Trezmen Marshall will remain with the SEC as he has committed to Alabama.

Marshall announced the move on his Instagram.

This is the second straight season that a Georgia player has moved to Alabama, as Jermaine Burton did last offseason. Right now, Alabama doesn’t have a defensive coordinator with Pete Golding taking over the opening at Ole Miss. Georgia Inside Linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann was mentioned as a candidate for the opening, and Schumann is an Alabama graduate student.

Alabama went 11-2 last season and ended its season with a win in the Sugar Bowl. Georgia won the national championship for the second straight season.

A total of 10 Georgia players entered the transfer portal in the first window, which closed on Wednesday. MJ Sherman and Arik Gilbert join Nebraska, Brett Seither joins Georgia Tech, and Bill Norton signs with Arizona.

Still looking for a home are Jaheim Singletary, Ryland Goede, Jacob Hood, Dominick Blaylock and AD Mitchell.

Georgia pulled three of its own players from the transfer portal, landing wide receivers Dominic Lovett and RaRa Thomas to join Smoke Bouie.
