According to a study that included 420 cities from 89 different countries, the renowned Forbes magazine named Malaga the best city in the world as an alternative to big capitals. Malaga would be the best city in the world, ahead of Barcelona in the case of Spain, to visit, vacation or settle.

The article entitled Explore This Map Of The World’s Best Alternative Capital Cities places Malaga above other major European and global cities such as Lyon (France), Split (Croatia), Casablanca (Morocco), Munich (Germany), Osaka (Japan) and Vancouver (Canada).
