Radio Guaíba commentator, from Porto Alegre, The lawyer Luiz Antônio Beck insulted the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, with fatphobic comments during a live participation in a radio show last Tuesday (17).

“Dino… It’s total hypocrisy. Nothing against obesity, but he’s an obese person. And an obese communist is something you can’t do. You could feed three or four families from what he eats every day,” he explained.

The attack took place during the “Boa Tarde Brasil” program, when participants were discussing the appointment of Nicolau Dino, Flávio’s brother, as commander of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).

The other commenters jokingly poked fun at the nomination, even calling the episode a “mockery” and dubbing the brothers the “Dinosaur Family,” a nod to the old TV show.

Still in a tone of irony, the participants blame Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) for the more than 30 million Brazilians starving weeks after his inauguration. The moderator, Júlio Ribeiro, takes the opportunity to correct: “This government has not bought a dose of vaccine”.

“I heard they made aggressive, biased and criminal comments against me on a radio station in the RS. I expect a retraction a mirror,” he wrote.
