On Friday’s episode of Love Island, the islanders had to deal with the dramatic aftermath of Casa Amor after a tense reconnect that saw nine thrown out of the mansion.
In the suspenseful episode, Jessie Wynter, Claudia Fogarty and Samie Elishi met with Layla Al-Momani, Lydia Karakyriakou and Cynthia Taylu, the girls from Casa Amor.
As the girls dropped bombshells about what was really going on at the main mansion, Jessie Wynter broke down in tears and admitted she planned to tell Will Young she loved him before she heard about his antics.
Meanwhile, Claudia was furious after learning that Casey O’Gorman had apologized to Cynthia for not getting involved with her, while Samie remained unfazed by Tom Clare’s flirting.
Things also hit Shaq Mohammad and Tanya Manhenga when he admitted he felt “cheated” by their decision to couple with Martin Akinola.

In heartbreaking scenes, Jessie admitted she planned to tell Will she loved him before finding out about his cheeky Casa Amor antics.
The Aussie beauty, 26, was devastated after she found out Farmer, 23, kissed Layla during Thursday’s explosive relinking scenes.
Jessie broke down in tears as some of the islanders went to meet the girls from Casa Amor to find out what really happened while they were away from the main villa.
Layla revealed all about her antics with Will, telling Jessie that he said he thought she would turn his head on the very first day.
Layla went on to describe her steamy hickey with Will on the first night, before saying he felt “guilty” the next day and she said she felt his feelings had changed.

Jessie then burst into tears and was comforted by her islander, Claudia Fogarty, who admitted Will’s antics had been the hardest for the villa.
A tearful Jessie said: “If our connection was so strong, how can you chase after a girl after a day?”
Jessie then revealed that she had planned to tell Will she loved him before reconnecting, as she said she felt they had a “real connection”.
Through tears, she said: “I really love him. Imagine if I had said that on reconnect I would have been so humiliated.
At the beginning of the episode, Jessie had been overcome with emotion as the islanders said goodbye to the abandoned Casa Amor girls and boys after being reunited.
She was kindly comforted by her boyfriend Tom Clare, who tried to reassure her that she meant “so much” to Will, but Jessie broke down in tears.
Will came over to try and talk to her but Jessie asked him to leave her to digest the news while she sobbed while Will walked away looking down.
Between tears, as he kissed someone else, she said, “I know it’s not big, but it’s big for me.”

To which Tom insisted, “You mean so much to him.”
But an angry Jessie hit back with: “I’ve been told that so many times,” before consoling Shaq Mohammad, who remained single after Tanya Manhenga reconnected with Martin Akinola.
Casey O’Gorman also tried to reassure her that Will felt very guilty after his actions, but she left to talk to the girls.
She fumed, “The audacity to think we’d go back in and say, ‘It’s fine!'”
Speaking tearfully to the girls, she said, “Of all of them, I didn’t think he would be the guy for it.”
Shaq admits he feels “betrayed” by Tanya
Elsewhere, Shaq admitted he felt “betrayed” by Tanya after she hooked up with newcomer Martin during Casa Amor’s explosive reunion.
The airport security officer, 24, was devastated when his former partner, 23, returned to the main villa with new boy Martin, 27, while remaining single.
And on Friday’s episode, Shaq revealed he doesn’t know if he can “trust” Tanya again as they delve into the aftermath of Casa Amor.
The morning after the emotional reunion, Shaq and Tanya chatted about her decision to remarry, saying she wouldn’t close the door on their romance.
However, an angered Shaq shared his doubts, saying he felt like she “threw” what they had in his face by recoupling and admitted he didn’t “trust” her.

Explaining her decision, she added, “I feel like I deserve to give myself a chance. It wasn’t like going back with Martin and me and Shaq were done.”
However, a devastated Shaq said: “I meant it when I said I love you and all that stuff I said about the outside.”
“I felt very betrayed, I was honest with you from day one and it felt like you took that and threw it in my face. I don’t know if I can trust you,’ he added.
Tanya then insisted that she wouldn’t stop “trying” with him while she met Martin, but Shaq said, “You do your thing, and I’ll do my thing, and that’s how it’s going to be.”
Speaking at the beach shack, he added, “I want to be angry and wish I had no feelings for her and move on … but I’m in love with her and seeing her hits me differently.”
Tanya then spoke to Maxwell Samuda and Martin about her conversation with Shaq, in which she said he needed to separate “I love you from how long I’ve known you.”
After Maxwell walked away, Tanya spoke to a calm Martin and asked him what he was thinking after he said he was “processing” while looking annoyed.
He said: “You had the talk, yes? Obviously you had problems before, didn’t you? Is it one thing if he fixes it then I’m out of the picture?

Shaq previously spoke to Kai Fagan about Tanya and Martin and said he didn’t think their body language looked “natural” with their new partner.
Shaq looked over at Tanya and said, “She doesn’t even look natural, look at her curled up in a ball. She’s never been like this with me!’
Kai told his pal that he thinks Tanya still likes him, saying, “I have a feeling she’s about to get back to you.”
But Shaq admitted, “I don’t know if I could ever trust her again.”
Tanya had also expressed her fears about her and Shaq’s future after he said they were “over”.
She asked friends Samie Elishi and Olivia Hawkins, “He said it’s over, do you think he’s serious?”

But when Olivia got back with Maxwell Samuda, 23, she was furious to find out Kai had now found love with Sanam Harrinanan, 24.
Fans of the ITV show were quick to remind Olivia that she actually forgot Kai’s name upon arriving at Casa Amor and was confused by her anger.
During the episode, the former couple went for a chat, in which Olivia snapped at Kai, “If anyone’s playing the game, it’s you!”
“You should be happy, you came back matched,” he asked.
Olivia hit back: “I feel like everything I’ve had with you is wrong. Your feelings have changed so quickly, I don’t know how you can act like that!’
‘You did the same as me!’ a confused Kai hit back.
“I almost came back alone! I don’t need a friend like you in my life, I have enough friends, thanks,” she fired as she ended the call dramatically.
