Following the theft of millions from a money transfer company in Stuttgart, the wanted suspect was arrested at Stuttgart Airport.

As police and prosecutors announced, the 42-year-old was brought before a magistrate on Tuesday, who executed the existing arrest warrant. The woman had arrived at Stuttgart airport on a plane from Montenegro on Monday night. Federal police and law enforcement officers were waiting for their arrival.

The alleged thief had already contacted investigators through her lawyer and announced that she wanted to turn herself in. She was wanted on a public manhunt and an international arrest warrant.

That’s the claim

The former employee of the money transport company will have taken advantage of her job and stolen more than one million euros in October. The investigation into the looting continued, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday. Nothing can be said about whereabouts. The suspect was heard this Tuesday. Police initially did not provide any information about his statements.
