American actor Alec Baldwin, author of a fatal shooting on the set of the film rust 2021 is charged with manslaughter, a prosecutor announced on Thursday.

The shooter in the film who handled the gun is the subject of the same charges, said Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies.
On October 21, 2021, that filming had become tragic when Mr. Baldwin activated a gun that was supposed to contain only blanks, but whose very real projectile killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, and injured director Joel Souza.
