Anthony Bell is reportedly sticking by his longtime friend Michael Clarke after he became involved in a blazing argument between the former Australia cricket captain and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough at a public park in Noosa.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, it “seems unlikely” that the drama will affect their long-standing friendship.
As for Today Show host Karl Stefanovic, who has intervened in the very public row, his decades-long ties with the former cricket captain have come to an end.

“Michael texted Karl and another to Jade’s parents. So far, they’ve fallen on deaf ears,” a source told New Idea.
The insider added that Stefanovic “doesn’t forgive easily.”
“Karl told Jade it can’t end well with Michael’s ex Pip Edwards still in his life,” they said.
“Karl wants Jade to cut her losses and move on and meet someone else and let Michael learn his lesson the hard way.”

Meanwhile, sources told the Sydney Morning Herald that Queensland Police had dropped the investigation after speaking to all parties involved in the brawl.
Dramatic footage, made available to the Daily Telegraph, shows a shirtless Clarke being yelled at and hit by his angry girlfriend while other members of the group, including Stefanovic and famed accountant Bell, try to defuse the commotion.

The video begins with Yarbrough yelling at Clarke before slapping him in the face and pushing him away after the cricketer insists he hasn’t cheated on her.
‘Am I wrong? I’m damn wrong! You are a fucking liar. i can see everything You called her,” she yells, apparently referring to messages between Clarke and Edwards.
Eventually, Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine intervenes, grabs her desperate sister’s arm and pulls her away.
You can hear Jasmin say: “Go away with Karl, go away with Karl.”
As she is led away, Yarbrough is heard crying as she turns to Clarke and wails, “I f**king hate you.”
Clarke then tries to follow Yarbrough before unleashing a wave of anger on Stefanovic, seemingly for walking away with the two sisters.
“Karlos, I can tell you now, c**t, don’t the fuck go away. She can, she can hit me, but you, you shit,” says Clarke.
This comment sparks anger from Yarbrough, who defends her brother-in-law before repeatedly punching Clarke in the face.

Stefanovic and Bell tell the couple to stop, which falls on deaf ears.
The ugly altercation happened in front of young children nearby, according to stunned witnesses.
A remorseful Clarke has since accepted full responsibility for what happened.
“I am absolutely disappointed that I have brought into this position people I value most in this position. My actions leading up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.
“I’m devastated that my actions have drawn women of class and integrity and my buddies into this situation.”
