Facebook employees complain about being paid to do nothing

Facebook employees would be without work assignments in recent months following the wave of layoffs announced by parent company Meta.

According to the Financial Times, several employees have no track record as several positions have been eliminated. American business media point out that this situation is related, among other things, to the departure of several superiors.

Another wave of layoffs is in the air.

According to one source, discussions about the future of certain executives are much more important than the tasks employees have to accomplish. They were many on social media who regretted getting paid for not doing anything.

Meta announced 11,000 job cuts in November. The company, which owns Facebook, also plans to change its portfolio of computer equipment and reduce the number of jobs.
