Karl Stefanovic’s decade-long friendship with Michael Clarke is rumored to have come to an end after he intervened in a simmering row between the former Australia cricket captain and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough at a public park in Noosa.
The Today show host is reportedly “done” with the sports star after his sister-in-law Jade Clarke accused her of cheating with his ex Pip Edwards.
“Michael texted Karl and another to Jade’s parents. So far, they’ve fallen on deaf ears,” a source told New Idea.

The insider added that Stefanovic “doesn’t forgive easily.”
“Karl told Jade it can’t end well with Michael’s ex Pip Edwards still in his life,” they said.
“Karl wants Jade to cut her losses and move on and meet someone else and let Michael learn his lesson the hard way.”
Meanwhile, an exhausted Stefanovic made his way through Melbourne Airport on Friday but appeared in good spirits as he made his way through security.
The journalist was wearing the same navy blue suit he wore on his flight from Sydney to Melbourne the day before and had his white shirt unbuttoned to reveal a necklace that sat on his chest.

He also flashed several beaded bracelets adorning both of his wrists.
The Breakfast TV presenter, 48, admitted he was “quite tired” on Friday’s Today show after traveling from Sydney to Melbourne for Nine’s Australian Open coverage on Thursday.
Stefanovic blamed his fatigue for staying up all night to watch the thrilling Australian Open tennis match between Andy Murray and Thanasi Kokkinakis, which lasted five hours and 45 minutes before ending at 4:05am.
He also flashed several beaded bracelets adorning both of his wrists

According to the Herald Sun, he smiled when asked about the incident.

Dramatic footage, made available to the Daily Telegraph, shows a shirtless Clarke being yelled at and hit by his angry girlfriend while other members of the group, including Stefanovic and famed accountant Anthony Bell, try to defuse the commotion.
Viral video of the Noosa incident shows Yarbrough accusing Clarke of sleeping with Edwards on December 17 and texting her that she is the “love of his life”.

Karl shared a laugh with a male pal as he prepared to return to Sydney on Friday
All hell broke loose when Clarke, Stefanovic and the Yarbrough sisters had dinner with accountant Anthony Bell at a beachfront restaurant in Noosa.
The video begins with Yarbrough yelling at Clarke before slapping him in the face and pushing him away after the cricketer insists he hasn’t cheated on her.
‘Am I wrong? I’m damn wrong! You are a fucking liar. i can see everything You called her,” she yells, apparently referring to messages between Clarke and Edwards.
Eventually, Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine intervenes, grabs her desperate sister’s arm and pulls her away.
He put on his famous smile and didn’t seem to care
You can hear Jasmin say: “Go away with Karl, go away with Karl.”
As she is led away, Yarbrough is heard crying as she turns to Clarke and wails, “I f**king hate you.”
Clarke then tries to follow Yarbrough before unleashing a wave of anger on Stefanovic, seemingly for walking away with the two sisters.
“Karlos, I can tell you now, c**t, don’t the fuck go away. She can, she can hit me, but you, you shit,” says Clarke.
The TV star didn’t get the VIP treatment as she went through security
He was no doubt looking forward to coming home to his wife Jasmine and their daughter Harper
This comment sparks anger from Yarbrough, who defends her brother-in-law before repeatedly punching Clarke in the face.
Stefanovic and Bell tell the couple to stop, which falls on deaf ears.
The ugly altercation happened in front of young children nearby, according to stunned witnesses.
Karl put his expensive Louis Vuitton duffel bag on the baggage scanner
A remorseful Clarke has since accepted full responsibility for what happened.
“I am absolutely disappointed that I have brought into this position people I value most in this position. My actions leading up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.
“I’m devastated that my actions have drawn women of class and integrity and my buddies into this situation.”
