The unusual deployment of a luxurious Airbus A321neo at Salvador Airport caught the attention of aviation enthusiasts and set several records in photos and videos.

As revealed yesterday by AEROIN, British airline Titan Airways’ jet is on a luxury trip around the world, with affluent tourists and entitled to the best hospitality, services and accommodation promoted by TCS, the company responsible for the adventure under its brand applied to the aircraft fuselage.

The following video, recorded by Luciedson Ferreira and posted on his YouTube channel, shows the A321neo registration GXATW pilots having to fly around on the first approach, likely due to some destabilization, and then completing the landing on the second attempt :

The arrival seen in the video above was on Tuesday 14 February at around 4pm on flight ZT341 from Dakar, Senegal, having flown from London to Dakar on Sunday 12 February.

The route of the current trip, which began in London on Saturday 11th and will last until the 25th, will also include Lomé in Togo (Africa), AlUla in Saudi Arabia and Tunis in Tunisia, ending in London.

Expenditure for the participating tourists was US$105,000 (more than BRL 500,000) for an “all inclusive” expedition ranging from luxury jet travel, hotels, ground transportation and meals to all daily activities, first line, beverages and all tips were enough.

If you are traveling alone and prefer the privacy of your own room, there is still an additional fee of $10,500.

Activities at the Salvador stop will continue until this Thursday, February 16, and the Airbus A321neo is scheduled to leave Brazil on Friday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m., according to approval from the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC).
