Will & Grace’s Eric McCormack joins the cast of the upcoming Hulu adaptation of The Other Black Girl as a series regular
Eric McCormack has a new series.
The 59-year-old Will & Grace star has joined the cast of The Other Black Girl, according to a Thursday report by Deadline.
Both he and Bellamy Young had signed on as regulars on the series. The upcoming series is currently slated to premiere on the Hulu streaming service.

The Other Black Girl is based on the novel of the same name by Zakiya Dalila Harris, which was published last year.
The show follows a character named Nella, an African American person who is excited when another black woman named Hazel is hired by the publishing company where she works.
However, as her new colleague rapidly rises through the ranks, Nella begins to suspect suspicious activity from her superiors.
McCormack is set to play Richard Wagner, the head of the company the characters work for.

The show’s cast is led by Sinclair Daniel, who was confirmed as Nella last October.
The program of the series is rounded off by actors such as Ashleigh Murray, Brittany Adebumola and Hunter Parrish.
The development of the program was first presented to the public last August.
Harris himself serves as one of the program’s executive producers alongside figures such as Rashida Jones.

The release date of The Other Black Girl has not yet been announced to the public.
McCormack is best known for his work on Will & Grace, which ran for eleven seasons.
Other cast members included Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and the recently deceased Leslie Jordan.
The latter of the three died last month aged 67 after crashing his car after allegedly suffering a medical emergency.

In one of his posts, the actor expressed that he was “devastated” to learn of Jordan’s death.
He also described his former castmate as “the funniest, flirtiest Southerner I’ve ever known”.
The performer concluded his message by writing that Jordan was “gone about 30 years early.” You were loved sweet man.’
