Emmerdale’s Noah Dingle will be in for a shock next week when a family member gets in touch.

The teenager gets some news related to his late father Chris Tate from his aunt Zoe Tate, played by the late Leah Bracknell, who gets in touch via a message on the show.

Chris was a villain on the ITV soap opera from 1989 to 2003 when he took his own life before blaming his murder on wife Charity and exposing their affair.

Charity went to prison for the crime and Noah was cared for by Aunt Zoe until she helped his mother get released.

Over the years, Zoe has been mentioned several times on the show since she left in 2005 and is mentioned again in upcoming episodes and reportedly makes contact with Noah.

Leah Bracknell – who played Zoe, died in 2019 after battling stage four lung cancer. She was last seen on Emmerdale in 2005.

It is not known why Zoe approached Noah, but he will discover that his aunt set up a trust fund for him on his father’s behalf.

Noah is shocked to be handed the money he has never heard of but it is known how much money is in the account.

Meanwhile, Charity is left in a spiral after learning some stunning news during a devastating but mysterious phone call.

Viewers will have to watch the soap next week to see if the two storylines are connected, as spoilers don’t currently reveal who’s on the other end of the phone.

Charity turns after the call and turns to getting drunk and constantly misbehaving, worrying friends and partner Mackenzie Boyd fearing the worst.

He fears she found out he slept with Chloe Harris and got her pregnant with his baby.

Charity tries to get out of her thoughts and takes Caleb’s car keys, but before Cain drives off, she spots them and gets in the car to find out what’s going on.

She limits himself to him explaining what happened, but viewers will have to see his reaction.
