Ellen DeGeneres commented on her ex Anne Heche’s nearfatal car accident.
When asked about the matter by photographers, the presenter said she was no longer in touch with her ex, but added, “I don’t want anyone to get hurt.”
Ellen and Anne dated from 1997 to 2000, but the comedian said she really “can’t tell” how the actress is doing right now. However, Ellen wished her well. This was the first and only comment Ellen made about Anne’s accident so far.
The actress crashed her blue Mini Cooper into a cluster of buildings in Los Angeles and is in a coma after the accident. Police are investigating the case and it is believed the actress was driving under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.
