Dancing On Ice FIRST LOOK: Ekin-Su transforms into the humble Maria von Trapp after her racy Britney costume sparked 112 Ofcom complaints

Ekin-Su Culculoglu will dress up as Maria von Trapp at Dancing On Ice on Sunday after a daring see-through catsuit in the opening show two weeks ago sparked more than 100 Ofcom complaints.

The Love Island winner, 28, will dress up as a character from the classic 1965 film The Sound of Music as she tries to stay in the competition.

Ekin-Su will wear a blouse that reaches down to her neck, with a bodice over it that ensures little skin is visible.

It’s not known if she’s pairing it with a short or long skirt, but she’ll also be hiding her long brunette hair with a wig so she can mimic the film nun’s blonde mop of hair for her appearance in the film’s Do-Re-Mi der Musical theme show.

The Turkish beauty – who is dating Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti – said of Sunday night’s outfit and routine: “Whoever you see in the performance, whether I’m playing Britney Spears or Maria from The Sound of Music , I will be that person .

“I had fun with Britney, I couldn’t have done it better in my opinion. I do not regret it.

“This time I’m playing a character from The Sound of Music and I’m going to be what it’s supposed to be.

“People forget I’m an actress. If asked to play Henry VIII on ice, I would.

Her look is a stark contrast to two weeks ago, when she left Dancing On Ice viewers stunned with a diamond-encrusted nude bodystocking she wore to dance to Britney Spears’ hit Toxic.

As part of her routine, Ekin-Su was spotted crawling across the ice alongside dance partner Brendyn Hatfield, prompting 112 complaints to television regulator Ofcom, which insisted the catsuit was “too sexy” to wear before the watershed in to be carried to a family show. The organization has not yet decided whether to launch an investigation.

Her performance on the show – hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield – also resulted in the star being “slut-shamed” on social media.

Actress Ekin-Su said after the routine, “You know what? If you have them, flaunt them. I mean if you have a nice butt and you look sexy in a catsuit why not. Who cares?’

But the outfit wasn’t enough to save Ekin-Su from skate-off after receiving the fewest public votes, but last Sunday she beat former footballer John Fashanu to stay in contention.

Before the show began, the model said she was ready for the judges’ criticism.

She said: “They’re not all going to say I’m great. If they say I need to do better, that would make me work harder.

“I would rather receive criticism than get a ten out of ten every week. I want them to criticize me? I’m ready for it.”
