Disappearance of Eduardo Malpica: “I can’t remain in the dark”

The wife of Eduardo Malpica, who has been missing in Trois-Rivières since November 26, is emotionally exhausted and concerned at the lack of new developments in the investigation.

Chloé Dugas announced this during her appearance on the show “Le monde à l’envers”.

“It’s very tiring,” she said. I’m mentally exhausted, I’m emotionally exhausted. It’s a never-ending struggle to make sense of it all when there isn’t.”

More than 60 days after his disappearance, there are almost no new developments in the investigation into his finding.

He is said to have been involved in a bar fight on the night of 25/26 November, an individual threatened him with an ax as he was leaving and a witness saw him and said he wanted to start his life over.

That’s all we know about the circumstances that led to his disappearance.

“I think the police took it seriously from day one,” Ms. Dugas continues. What worries me, of course, is that 63 days later we don’t have any more replies than we had on November 26th.

In the absence of new information, the Trifluvienne says she’s prepared for any eventuality, whether he’s dead or not, but wants answers.

“What I want with all my heart is to find him alive, but ultimately I want answers,” she says. I can’t stay in suspense and not know what happened.”
