In 2018, Olivia Newton-John opened up on the No Filter podcast about their relationship, which she felt was more like a “sister” than anything. “We were both with other people when we were filming and I respectfully believe it just didn’t happen.”said the actress.
“I think it was good because I think it kept the excitement and the chemistry. It could have been a real disaster if we decided to go out or fight or something,” he continued. “So I think it was better that it didn’t happen. But we’re still good guys Friends.”
Then again, in August 2019, the pulp fiction actor opened up about the bond he and Olivia had formed over the years. “We were dating not too long ago, about three months ago, and we write to each other all the time‘ he told Us Weekly exclusively.
“It’s wonderful … When I see her on her show, we go backstage and hang out, and I watch the show and all that. When I visit her in person, we usually have dinner and meet up. And lately we’ve been talking about doing something together,” Travolta said.
Additionally, Newton-John spoke again about her relationship with Travolta during an interview with Hollywood Life in February 2021. “So, We will always be friends. John and I have had a huge and incredible experience together and we care about each other and we will always be friends,” said the actress, who died August 8 at the age of 73.
