The model, who rose to fame when she was romantically linked to rapper Tyga, hasn’t previously spoken out about her sexuality but has admitted to her followers that she’s open to dating women.

She was asked by a fan, “Was it hard being Demi Rose growing up?” to which she replied, “Growing up it was very hard being bullied at school, being abused by parents and then becoming a full time caregiver for my mother at the age of 17 who was having a heart attack causing a stroke and she was becoming disabled, wheelchair bound.
“She was disabled for seven years and then both of my parents died four years ago.
“I’m often misjudged, but honestly those who meet me say I’m the kindest and that warms my heart.
“I’m thankful for all the bad things because it made me who I am. I have so much empathy now for going through what I have.”

Demi suffered heartbreak after her father Barrie passed away in 2018 at the age of 80, before her mother Christine sadly passed away just seven months later.
In another post, she was asked if she missed her “normal life” before she found fame, to which she replied: “My childhood wasn’t glamorous. i hated it There are definitely things I miss in life, but throughout life I love where it leads.
Back in 2020, Demi shared a series of statements on her Instagram story in which she emotionally revealed that she was abused as a child, bullied at school and hurt in relationships.

She wrote: “I think it’s important to feel your emotions, understand them, let them out and experience them.
“I like to think that whatever may happen to me happened for a reason. that I am a vessel. In this way I can also inspire and help those who have struggled.
“I didn’t grapple with my struggles too much because I still grappled with them. I wanted to get to a strong place to talk about her first.’
Demi explained: “From dealing with abuse as a child, to bullying at school, hurt from relationships you never thought you would and dealing with great grief, loss of two people I loved most .

“To this day, I’m still trying to let go of all of that, but I recognize that all of it has shaped me into who I am today.”

“Before life happened, we were innocent babies in a hopeful world. We didn’t know stress and we didn’t know pain. We only knew love.’
Demi had previously opened up about losing both of her parents seven months apart after caring for her mum for years.

The Instagram model explained how her death made her “grow up really quickly” as she opened up about dealing with grief while recording her PrettyLittleThing podcast episode.
Demi said: “I lost both my parents, my father has cancer and my mother had a heart attack causing a stroke when I was 17 and I was left as her carer as she was disabled.
“Then my dad died of cancer and then unfortunately my mom died 7 months after him from a stomach infection and that made me grow up really fast and be really really strong.
“And I think if I can inspire people by talking about grief, then you know if they can relate to me and they can understand it a little bit and I can help them, then that’s important to me.
After experiencing the loss of both her parents, Demi admitted: “I’ve been through a lot so I can talk about it.
“I feel like nothing can really affect me now, nothing can really make me feel a certain way — I’ve been through it all.”
Speaking about how she’s dealing with the loss of loved ones, she said, “It’s just part of life’s plan and you have to be strong.” Adding, “I couldn’t have prayed for better friends.”
