Demi Lovato took to Instagram on Monday to show off a longer hairstyle after rocking edgier short hair for the past few months.
The singer – who recently explained that she also uses her pronouns alongside them now, more than a year after coming out as non-binary – showed off the softer look and picture-perfect makeup on her Instagram Stories.
The change comes amid news that she, 29, is in a “happy and healthy relationship” with a fellow musician, according to a source who spoke to People.

The singer wore a ruffled black top and decorated it with a rosary around her neck in the clip she shared to her Instagram.
She wore picture perfect glamor consisting of smoky black eye shadow, perfectly contoured brows and slightly matte pink lipstick on her pouty lips.

The romantic news comes after Lovato seemingly cast a shadow over her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in their scathing new breakup song 29 off their forthcoming eighth studio album Holy Fvck, due for release on August 19.
The harrowing track, which is widely believed to be about the 42-year-old actor, was written based on the insightful lyrics from her perspective at the age they first met when she was still a teenager.
“Finally 29 / Funny, just like you were back then,” smiles the singer. “I thought it was a teenage dream / Just a fantasy / But was it yours or was it mine?”

Lovato hasn’t specifically confirmed that the tune is about Valderrama, who she dated from 2010 to 2016.

Demi — born Demetria Devonne Lovato — and Max began dating in March 2020 before getting engaged four months later in Malibu.
The couple eventually split in September 2020 after a brief two-month engagement.
Although the split initially appeared amicable, a source later revealed to PEOPLE that Demi was hurt and “shocked” when they realized Max’s feelings weren’t “real”.
