The former Men and Women Tronista opened up about his family and the complicated stuff for the first time relationship with father who was serving a sentence for the crime of a mafia-type criminal organization. Davide Donadei’s redemption is his restaurant Heffort, taken over in his town of Parabita, in the province of Lecce.
Difficult childhood due to his father’s problems with the judiciary
Davide Donadei grew up in Puglia with his mother and older brother Danilo. The father was an absent figure in his life due to some troubles with the judiciary:
At the age of 4 my father left home, I was told he had to work in Brescia for months. In 2010 he was involved in a lightning strike and was in prison until June this year. He joined when I was 12-13. He was serving a sentence for conspiracy to commit a crime.

It started tagging us, they wouldn’t let me date the little girl because her dad knew about us. We had written “notorious Donadei” in the village. We have suffered the consequences of things where we had very little to do.
Davide Donadei’s relationship with his father after his release
After his release, Davide tried to repair the relationship with his father: “My mother never spoke badly about dad, that makes her a great woman. My brother and I visited him, we tried to restore a relationship.” LI did more for him than for me.” The competitor live on Canale 5 explained that he never wanted to deny his origins, his surname: “I have always trying not to deny my last name, my father.”

Davide therefore grew up with his mother, who knew how to take care of him and his brother. The woman took the family situation into her own hands, brought up her children and did even the simplest jobs so that they would not want for anything. My mother had to do unskilled work. She’s a great woman, she never spoke badly of dad. I remember Saturday nights in the winter when there wasn’t much money for heating and we sometimes had to wear three sets of pajamas. He was 35 and cut his life short for us, otherwise we wouldn’t have grown up like this.
“The restaurant is my personal salvation”
Before starting his adventure in the world of television, at the age of 23, Davide took over the management of a restaurant in Puglia, Heffort, in Parabita, in the province of Lecce, where he was born and grew up, where his mother also works: “I work in it from morning to night, I always have a plan A, namely my job, my restaurant. That’s my reality, I won’t be spending the summer in Ibiza, that’s for sure.” Today, Donadei is a down-to-earth boy who has two main goals in life: “To make my mother’s life run better and I want to be the superhero of my future family.”
