Spectrum SportsNet Dodgers reporter David Vassegh ended up in a cast after his outing down Bernie the Brewers’ slide at American Family Field in Milwaukee didn’t go as planned.
The Dodgers broadcast showed Vassegh’s ride down the chute, which saw the reporter repeatedly shout “holy shit” – before slamming into a retaining wall and immediately grabbing his right arm.
Vassegh, whose right arm appeared to be pinned behind him as he hit the wall, grimaced in pain as he held his arm and rolled on the floor.
Dodgers broadcasters Joe Davis and Nomar Garciaparra couldn’t stop laughing as Davis said, “First let me report, he’s fine.”
Vassegh then appeared on the show in a soft cast up to his elbow.

“Hey guys, I do my own Tom Cruise style stunts,” he said, smiling.
vassegh allegedly said he has two fractures in his right hand/wrist and six broken ribs.
“Thin, fat bodies can’t handle it,” he added.
When Vassegh interviewed Austin Barnes, who scored LA’s 2-1 win, the Dodgers catcher said, “That was for you. I know you had a little accident on the slide today. We are all gathered for you today.”
