John Fashanu has been hit by claims from his daughter Amal that he signed up for the show behind her back in order to lock her out of the deal.
The 60-year-old Dancing On Ice star, who had hired Amal as his agent, competes on the ITV ice skating program with his pro partner Alexandra Schauman.
However, his daughter has claimed she didn’t know about his place on the show until months after he signed on, surprising her as his agent.

Amal, who says she hasn’t spoken to her father in five months, opened up about their bitter feud in a new interview, telling the Sun on Sunday: “Dad is a joke. He went behind my back.
She admitted: “I don’t want anything to do with him anymore at the moment. We haven’t spoken in five months. That’s not how you treat family. He doesn’t think about how he hurts people. The older he gets, the worse it gets too. I love him, but I don’t know that he loves me.’
Amal claims she only found out the former England striker was going to compete when she was called by someone from the show asking her to film them to show their support.

She said: “I got a call from a woman at ITV who said, ‘Hi Amal. We’re here on the ice with your dad, training for Dancing On Ice.
“Not only was I his daughter, I was also his agent, but he had kept everything secret and shut me out completely. I could not speak. I was just so surprised. I could hear my dad saying “Hello honey!” in the background.
She added that at this point she also realized that she was no longer allowed to be her father’s agent.

Amal said her father called her later that night to confirm the news, but Amal admitted she wasn’t in the mood to talk and hung up after saying “Congratulations.”
She also claimed her father tried to cut her percentage when he secured a spot on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2020.
Amal, who feels “used,” said she found out her father had insisted she “don’t need five percent of his fee because she was his daughter.”
She was reportedly told the news by someone who was “disgusted” by her request.
Amal is the founder of the Justin Fashanu Foundation which was established in memory of her late uncle who took his own life in 1998.

John split from Amal’s mother when she was three years old over cheating allegations. The former professional soccer player has two sons and a daughter with his second wife.
He later married a third time, but it ended in 2015 due to further infidelity claims. John now lives in Nigeria with his new partner and two children.
