Damian Lewis made a rare appearance with his new girlfriend Alison Mosshart in New York City on Thursday, just over a month after confirming their relationship.
The actor has embarked on a new romance with the American musician following the tragic death of his wife Helen McCrory from cancer in April 2021.
Making an occasional public appearance with Mosshart in the city’s trendy SoHo neighborhood, Lewis, 51, looked relaxed in a black polo shirt and stone-colored chinos.

Accompanying her beau, Mosshart, 43, opted for a loose-fitting plaid shirt and leopard-print trousers, paired with simple black canvas shoes.
Completing her scruffy look with a pair of orange sunglasses, the musician made sure to stand out as they browsed the shops in lower Manhattan.
The couple are believed to have met in London through mutual friends and have grown fond of each other, Mosshart’s mother Vivian, 76, told .
Speaking solely from her home in Florida, she said: “I don’t know how much flak I’m going to get for all of this, but of course we’re happy for them.

“They have friends in common. I don’t know exactly how they met, but I’m okay with that. If she’s happy, we’re happy. I have yet to meet him, but I would definitely like to do it.’
Lewis and Mosshart were first photographed together in July at a chic fundraising party for London’s National Gallery.
The Vero Beach musician is best known as the lead singer of rock bands The Kills and The Dead Weather.
She got her start in music when, at the age of 17, she and a few friends formed the pop-punk band Discount.
In 2000, Discount went their separate ways and that same year Mosshart, along with British guitarist Jamie, formed the band for which they would become best known – The Kills.
