In a message published by Pina Records on social networks, the production explained the reasons why they had decided to take action and postpone the presentations, which would mark the retirement of the popular urban music artist.
“Hereby announces Mr. Soldout Inc, a production company performing the final Daddy Yankee concerts in Puerto Rico on January 6th, 7th and 8th, 2023 at the Hiram Bithorn, that they have been postponed.”, the terse statement indicated. “The ‘show’ being worked on for the island will be unique and exclusive. Due to logistical setbacks and careful production details, we have no choice but to reschedule such an important event date that has sold out.”.
The production also announced that they would be initiating a refund process for those who purchased tickets for those dates. “Since the new dates have not yet been determined, tickets will be refunded by Ticketera in the coming days and when these dates are confirmed, the people who have previously purchased will have the opportunity to purchase them as they wish as a pre-sale method,” they added.
