The trailer for Cuttputlli starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh was released on Saturday and is captivating in every way. The film is set in Kasuali, where a serial killer is on the loose and Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh are the cops tasked with stopping the killer. Akshay Kumar warns his team about a serial killer who has already committed 3 murders. He says in the trailer that the only way to stop the killer is not through power games, but through “mind games.” He decides to seal the city and sets off to achieve his goal, only to encounter obstacles at every step. The trailer ends with a shot of Akshay Kumar opening a trunk, which is followed by his shocked reaction.

The film’s lead actor Akshay Kumar shared the film’s teaser on social media, writing: “3 murders, 1 city, one cop and one serial killer on the loose! Cuttputlli on Hotstar is out September 2nd, only on Disney+Hotstar.”
The film was co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Pooja Entertainment. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari. Cuttputli also stars Sargun Mehta and Chandrachur Singh in key roles.
At the launch of the film’s trailer in Mumbai on Saturday, Akshay Kumar told reporters: “The film is once set in Kasauli amidst the beauty of nature and reveals incidents of ugly murders. It’s full of exciting twists and turns. I play.” an underdog detective, Arjan Sethi, who is on a lead to apprehend the psychopathic killer whose motives are unpredictable and unclear. Here revenge is an illusion and the final act of the film is unthinkable and will take you completely by surprise – and that’s what makes it unique,” the ANI news agency said.
