Customers are increasingly violent towards snow removal companies –

Faced with the winter and the increasing impatience of customers, Rimouski snowplows are victims of insults and even threats, a situation they denounce.

According to Sébastien Lévesque – who has been running Dénigement Ste-Odile for 12 years – the problem has reached another level this year.

“There’s really something in the air this year,” he said from the start.

He claims to offer the same service and notices that customers are becoming increasingly impatient and insulting drivers.

While he claims to offer the same service, he notes that customers are growing impatient, even going so far as to insult the drivers.

“There are customers who call us bad, incompetent grapes! Customers who even go so far as to almost attack the drivers,” he explains.

One customer even allowed himself to enter the cab of a tractor to physically attack a driver.

“There is a customer who kicked a tractor, opened the door and fell on the driver’s tomato. I don’t want it to happen that we lose drivers and the service is affected,” specified Mr. Lévesque .
