The Cure opened their four-date Italian tour last night in Bologna, which they will join tonight at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Thursday 3rd at the Kioene Arena in Padua and Friday 4th at the Forum in Assago Milan will lead.
A user filmed last night’s show, which took place at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), in a quality that is more than acceptable by YouTube standards. It’s two and a half hours of music, starting with the new Alone and the all-classic Pictures of You, touching on unreleased songs in the studio like And Nothing Is Forever and historic ones like Faith, which haven’t been played since 2011. The show ends with a lengthy series of Bis Deadly: Lullaby, The Walk, Friday I’m in Love, Close to Me, In Between Days, Just Like Heaven, Boy Don’t Cry.
