A Cubana de Aviación plane was on the verge of crashing after landing on the edge of the runway at Russia’s Voronezh airport. It was an Ilyushin IL-96-300, a four-engine model that stands out as an icon of Soviet industry.
According to a publication by the Facebook group “Lovers of Cuban Aviation”, the ship “landed, presumably, a few meters before the start of runway 21 of Pridacha Airport”, outside the length declared available and navigable after the descent .
