Could you stay in the quietest place on earth

Could you stay in the quietest place on earth?

The quietest place on earth is in the United States and no one can stay there for more than an hour.

In 2015 Microsoft built the quietest place on earth and even landed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This location is actually the anechoic room, also known as an anechoic room, located at the company’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington. The average room noise level is -20.35 dBA.

Very few people have managed to stay in this place for a long time, up to an hour.

In fact, it’s not like you won’t hear anything in the anechoic chamber: the only sounds come from your body.

After just a few minutes you can hear your heartbeat, for example.

Environments that are considered ultra-quiet are generally louder than the human hearing threshold, which is around 0 decibels. The total silence gradually turns into an unbearable noise in the ears. You could even lose your balance as the lack of reverberation in the room affects your spatio-temporal cues.

In the United States, in Minneapolis, another anechoic room is hoping for the title of the quietest place on earth. According to Steven J. Orfield, who designed the room, the ambient noise is -24.9 dBA. She previously held the record.
