Coronation Street’s Georgia Taylor has become an “Instagram official” with her co-star “boyfriend” Charlie De Melo.
The actress, 42, and Charlie, 33, have reportedly “grown close” since splitting from long-term partner Mark Lethren, 14.
And in a new picture shared to Instagram on Saturday, the pair looked happy to be in each other’s company as they posed with friends after a show.
Her friend, former EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, shared the picture and wrote: “2 Charlie’s, a peach and the beautiful Georgia, came to @oceanonstage last night. @bigfatpeach @realgeorgiataylor @charliedemelo.
“Too many years ago, A Street Car called Desire performed with the @curve_leicester boys and I and the lovely @realgeorgiataylor have met at many soapy events along the way. SO good to see friends when out and about. Thank you for coming! ❤️’

Georgia also commented on the snap: “Oh darling it was an absolute treat of a show and you are amazing ❤️ xx”.
It comes after the acting couple, who played the couple Toyah Battersby and Imran Habeeb on the ITV soap, were spotted in pictures by The Sun walking arm in arm in Manchester.
The couple’s bond comes as the publication reports that Georgia and Mark secretly split last year and both “moved out of the shared home.”
Meanwhile, Charlie hasn’t been linked with anyone since he split from his former partner, Corrie alumni Nicola Thorp, in 2019 after a 10-month romance.
Web has reached out to representatives from Georgia and Charlie for comment.
On Friday, it was reported that Georgia and Charlie looked cozy as they took a stroll together before stopping for a coffee.
The duo have remained close since Charlie’s character, attorney Imran, was killed by the soap opera last year – in an accident caused by Georgia’s character Toyah.
Discussing Charlie’s decision to leave Coronation Street, Georgia said at the time she was: “Heartbroken. I absolutely adore him.’

She continued, “He was a dream, an absolute dream. He’s so funny so we laugh a lot but he’s honestly one of the most supportive people I’ve ever worked with and even now, we’re obviously still in touch, he texts me: “Like was the day? Are you all right? “
“He’s just a team player. And I mean look at him, no complaints there either. He is gorgeous.’
Earlier this week it was reported that Georgia had split from her longtime partner Mark. A source told The Sun: “The split was in July 2022 and they both moved out of the home together.”

The couple, who have been together since 2008, lived together in Bristol.
In an Instagram post two weeks ago, Mark hinted at the reported split and the turmoil in his personal life in a candid update to mark the new year.
“It was the worst year in a series of increasingly shitty years,” his post began.

“My life finally collapsed. Luckily I’m incredibly fortunate to have a family who picked up the broken pieces and are trying to help me rebuild.”

Georgia hasn’t posted anything about Mark on Instagram since March 2020.
They celebrated 10 years together in Lisbon in 2018, with Georgia calling Mark “my love”.

Georgia previously spoke about how she first met Mark on the set of BBC’s Casualty in 2008 and said at the time that they weren’t married. She played Ruth Winters on the show, while Mark starred in the drama as Ben Harding.
He is also known for shows like The Bill and Wire in the Blood.
“Yeah, we’re not actually married, but we practically are because we’ve been together for so long,” she said.
“We met, he was kind of a halftime figure, he ironically played a city councilman, which Toyah ended up doing. We met 13 years ago. So yeah I got him out of the job and a lot of friends and it’s been a really good time,” she told Lorraine.
A representative for ITV’s Coronation Street declined to comment.
