The teenager was trapped in a bedroom by Mike after desperately trying to keep his son a secret from his wife Esther.

In the dramatic scenes that aired on Monday, Summer told Mike she was pulling out of her surrogacy plan after she found out he was having an affair and had fathered a son named Callum.
A distraught Mike confronted him about her discoveries and locked her in the nursery without her insulin, putting the diabetic buzzer at risk of death.
Eventually Mike found Summer unconscious in the bedroom and Esther quickly called an ambulance and the teenager was taken to the hospital where she eventually recovered.
As Mike’s lies slowly came to light, he and Esther were reported to the authorities.
