In an interview with BLVD 102.1, the young man explains that he came out of the closet a few years ago.

“I was 17-18 years old and it was poorly received,” he explains. My mother kicked me out of our house.

“Little Jérémy” underlined the support of his father, who was upset about the situation.

“My father, who has made homophobic comments his whole life, came up to me and hugged me. He told me that he didn’t think it was right and that he loved me for who I am,” he confides. He added that he then helped him pack his suitcase.

Jérémy Gabriel said that the bridges between his mother and him were repaired once the shock wore off.

“She’s even trying to get me a boyfriend,” he joked.
