Chanelle Hayes flaunts her incredible 9th weight loss in a bright pink string bikini in Tenerife

Chanelle Hayes soaked up some winter sun during her short break in Tenerife this week and certainly looked good doing it.

The former Big Brother roommate, 35, showed off her slim physique as she donned a bright pink and orange bikini while enjoying a day at the beach.

Her results come after she lost nine stones following gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020, which saw her drop from a size 18 to a size 10.

Chanelle, catching some rays on the beach, wore a metal detailing bikini top with an orange and pink cup paired with neon pink bottoms.

Her brunette tresses were pulled back into a low bun as she kept them away from the ocean winds to preserve her natural complexion.

She arrived in high spirits for the relaxing day and lay on her stomach to help even out the tan.

Chanelle underwent her stomach surgery in 2020 and explained at the time that the surgery was a “last resort” after years of struggling with her weight.

After the surgery, she explained the reasons why she went under the knife, writing on social media: “It was an accumulation of things: medical issues related to obesity, deteriorating mental health, I hardly left the house. I needed a second chance for my health.”

Chanelle was asked if she felt she had any options, to which she wrote: “Yes, definitely. I would have further eaten my way into an early grave if I hadn’t tried surgery. It’s not for everyone and I’ve researched it extensively and it’s been life changing.”

It comes after Chanelle recently broke down in tears over her mental health issues.

But the star took to social media last week to insist she is “perfectly fine” after the emotional moment.

She said she “likes to keep her social media transparent and revealing what my actual life is like,” rather than creating an illusion.

Chanelle asked her followers not to judge her as she thanked them for their support after breaking down on Wednesday, saying: “Please don’t judge me.”

In the video, she said: “Please don’t judge me for wearing the same outfit, in the same place, just with extra fat in my hair and glasses on. Otherwise, I feel the same as yesterday’s post.

“I just wanted to thank you all for the lovely messages of support and for making you feel the same way at times and the appreciation that life can be crazy.

“Anyway, I don’t want to bore you, I just wanted to let you know that everything is fine.

Chanelle admitted that “growing up is hard” and that she doesn’t enjoy putting on a fake smile for social media because “things aren’t always great.”

She continued: “It was just a trash day in a really trash week. I like to keep my Instagram reflective and transparent of how my actual life is.

“A lot of people just post highlights, which is totally fine, share what you want to share, but sometimes it’s hard to grow up and social media can be really bad.

“You see all this stuff like everything is great, but you sat there and didn’t feel that great, so my post was about showing how easy it is to put on a smile and emphasize the good when we do.” could really use it when we realize that things aren’t always great.’

Referring to a video of her sobbing on social media, she admitted she was feeling “lost and overwhelmed” after a “garbage” start to 2023.
