Boy (4) dies in road roller accident
cell – The beat-up motorcycle on the side of the road only gives an idea of the terrible scenes that must have taken place on Monday at a construction site in Lower Saxony. A four-year-old was run over by a steamroller in Celle and died. The child died in front of the father.
According to the police, the father was with his two children (4, 7) on August 15 at Haydnstrasse. The father ran, the children rode ahead on the children’s bicycles.

The accident happened in the area of the construction site in Wilhelm-Heinichen-Ring, which was cordoned off with beacons. When the seven-year-old boy crossed the street around 12:40, his younger brother wanted to follow him.
At that moment, he was caught by the reverse road roller. A police spokesman: “He died at the scene of the accident.”

A wrongful death case was opened against the driver of the roller. An expert must now reconstruct the exact course of the accident. Wilhelm-Hinichen-Ring has been completely closed to traffic.
