Celac leaders reaffirm commitment to regional integration

During the VII Summit of this body, the Heads of State or Government of 33 countries approved the Buenos Aires Declaration, in which they advocated respect for the political, economic, social and cultural diversity of peoples.

In addition, they highlighted the projection of Celac as a community of sovereign nations capable of reaching consensus on issues of common concern and contributing to prosperity and development, as well as taking action to end poverty, inequalities and existing inequalities .

With regard to extra-regional cooperation, he highlights the dialogues and projects with the European and African Unions, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, China and India.
