Carol Vorderman spoke candidly about her sex life during an appearance on This Morning on Monday, admitting she’s content to have five “special friends” rather than one committed partner.
The 62-year-old TV personality admitted her lovers “all know about each other” and said her life has changed since she dreamed of being married to a man when she was 20.
Carol, who divorced her second husband Patrick King in 2000, continued to gushed about the arrangement, revealing she has “no plans” to settle down.

She said: “They know about each other now. We must all be on the same page. They have their life and I don’t need to know about it.
“It was interesting that I talked about it [multiple partners] off the cuff, but the reactions were almost all positive’.
“When I was in my 20s, I wanted to get married and have kids. In my 60s I have a full life and live with my children.
Revelations: The television personality, who previously revealed she has “five special friends”, admitted her bedfellows “all know about each other”.
“I don’t want to settle for anyone, I love my job, the education business, a busy home. People don’t just want one partner, they’ve all been single. There’s a rule, don’t hurt anyone.
She continued: “The rules of society were very different and if a woman had a child without being married, it was awful.
“I went to Cambridge [University] at 17 and my mom sat me down and told me that i need to think about settling down to get married.
“I think after 50 you have to decide if you want to live with another man or if you want the nice parts.”

Admitting that she doesn’t need to know anything about her partner’s personal life and has no idea even if they have their own friends.
“I’m only talking about it because there was such a reaction to it and a lot of people are shamed by society, so why not talk about it?”

On the Zoe Ball breakfast show, Carol shared that she’s been in some of the relationships for a long time.
The presenter added that her choice means she has a lot of love in her life and a “little icing on the cake”.
She also explained her decision, saying: “I’ll tell you why Zoe, I’ve been married, I have two grown children, I’m self sufficient, I’m independent, I’m empowered.
