Carol Vorderman spoke candidly about her sex life during an appearance on This Morning on Monday, admitting she’s content to have five “special friends” rather than one committed partner.

The 62-year-old TV personality admitted her lovers “all know about each other” and said her life has changed since she dreamed of being married to a man when she was 20.

Carol, who divorced her second husband Patrick King in 2000, continued to gushed about the arrangement, revealing she has “no plans” to settle down.

“I don’t want to settle for anyone, I love my job, the education business, a busy home. People don’t just want one partner, they’ve all been single. There’s a rule, don’t hurt anyone.

She continued: “The rules of society were very different and if a woman had a child without being married, it was awful.

“I went to Cambridge [University] at 17 and my mom sat me down and told me that i need to think about settling down to get married.

“I think after 50 you have to decide if you want to live with another man or if you want the nice parts.”
