Recreational vehicle maker BRP said Tuesday morning it had been the target of malicious cybersecurity activities that forced it to “temporarily” halt operations.
The Valcourt-based company assured in a press release published Tuesday morning that it had “taken immediate action to contain the situation”.
“The company has activated its internal network of IT professionals and engaged the services of cybersecurity professionals to secure its systems and assist in its internal investigations.”
Operations have been “temporarily” suspended, which could delay certain transactions with customers and suppliers, the company said.
