Bromont police seek witnesses to fatal snowboarding accident

(Montreal) Bromont police are searching for people who saw what happened in the snowboarding accident that killed a young man in his 20s Saturday night at the Station Bromont Mountain Experience ski area.

In a statement sent to the media on Monday, the Bromont Police Department advises that its investigation into this file is ongoing and is urging anyone who could help determine the circumstances surrounding the accident to contact their investigators To get in touch.

Two days after the accident, the victim’s identity is still unknown because “the victim’s immediate family could not be reached,” the police say, but say the victim is a young man from the area of Montreal acts.

On Saturday evening, just before 7 p.m., the snowboarder came across a snow-making system. After the station’s first aid staff administered first aid, the victim was taken to Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
