Brittany Mahomes gives Patrick Mahomes a lucky kiss on the sidelines ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl

Brittany Mahomes kissed her husband Patrick Mahomes lucky before he faced the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2023 Super Bowl.

The 27-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback joined his gorgeous wife on the sidelines at star-studded State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, for a romantic hug before the big game.

The high school sweethearts wed in March last year and have two children together — a year-old daughter named Sterling Skye and a two-month-old son named Patrick Lavon.

Mathews, 27, is an athlete herself, having had a brief career as a professional soccer player before becoming a personal trainer.

Brittany looked stunning in a bright red ensemble that showed off her flat waist and showed off her incredible postpartum physique after giving birth to the couple’s son in November.

She held the couple’s daughter with one arm and used her free hand to touch her husband’s face to pull him towards her for the kiss.

The couple’s love story began in their native Texas, when the future superstar gave the beautiful blonde a rose and a Valentine’s Day card during her freshman year of high school.

Brittany and Patrick started out as friends but eventually became inseparable.

After Patrick popped the question in September 2020 — the same day he received his championship ring by winning Super Bowl LIV — Brittany gushed about their engagement on Instagram

“On a day meant to celebrate you, you made it ours to celebrate.

“It’s always us, it’s always you and me. The words you looked into my eyes and said to me in that moment will NEVER get out of my head!

“You made this day perfect, you took my breath away and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

‘I love you forever and ever! Cheers to our life together and an inseparable bond.”

Brittany isn’t shy when it comes to supporting her husband and embracing the waves of fandom and fame.

She has become a polarizing figure among football fans, who often criticize her vocal support for her husband.

In 2021, when Patrick and the Chiefs played the Buffalo Bills, Brittany toasted the umpires on Twitter, writing, “Umpires are never in our favor. Always.’

“Girls you gotta stop,” replied a disapproving follower. “That was my team long before Patrick was here. It doesn’t make the org look good. Chiefs are bigger than you, me or any other player.’

“In the nicest way,” the fitness guru wrote, “shut up.”

She caused further controversy last year when she celebrated a win by popping a champagne bottle in her private suite at Arrowhead Stadium while spraying expensive bubbly at fans.

Brittany tweeted about the backlash, writing, “I just wish I could do what I want without getting attacked every week.”

She went on to retweet a fan’s tweet in defense, which read: “People complaining about Brittany spraying champagne in the stands clearly have never won anything before. I just said.’

Brittany ended up creating Team Brittany t-shirts and donating the proceeds to an anti-bullying charity.

Announcing the merchandise on her Instagram story, Brittany said: “There’s been quite a fuss this week and it’s been quite a tough week here.

“However, I and my team decided to try to make something out of it and do something good for the Kansas City community.”

When someone wrote on Twitter that criticizing Brittany had become “cool,” she responded by tweeting back, “Yeah, that’s cool. Pretty hysterical how something like this can get cool.’

The petite blonde beauty is a permanent fixture in the stands, often watching with her close friends Kayla Nicole and Sydni Page as they date Kansas City stars Travis Kelce and Tyrann Mathieu.

But the controversy surrounding Brittany eventually led to speculation that Patrick had asked her to stop attending games.

“You guys just make things up these days,” the NFL star tweeted, denying the rumours.

Britanny has become quite the influencer on Instagram with 1.2million followers and she recently posted a video of her husband in the field with the caption: “So. Damned. Proud. BY YOUUUU’
