Britney Spears is not in any danger, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday after concerned fans asked the department for a health check.
“I can confirm that we have received calls to our dispatcher and for the most part I can confirm that we do not believe Britney Spears is in any form of harm or danger,” a police spokesman said.
The officer did not disclose how many calls they received and said they would not reveal if they had been in direct contact with Spears, 41, or how they knew she was fine.
The police spokesman explained that the reason for providing minimal details was that more transparency was a “public trust issue”.
“It’s just a matter of privacy for residents of our county,” the official said. “It’s a question of public trust. We just don’t disclose such things [such as wellness checks]. It’s not a crime.”

“We’re not really talking about mental health issues or anything like that,” he added, before reiterating, “I can’t confirm or deny MPs have gone to her home, but we don’t think Britney Spears is in any way.” of harm or danger at that time.”
Some of the concerned fans who called the police took to TikTok on Tuesday to live-stream the wellness check requests.
“I called because I am concerned about the physical safety of a resident in your area,” reads one of the callers, who identifies herself as “Christina,” in the clip.
When the officer asked why the fan wanted a wellness check, “Christina” replied, “There was suspicious activity online and now her account has been deleted.”
