British soap actor dies aged 31 while visiting family in the United States

British actor Sam Gannon died at the age of 31 while visiting family in California, United States.

The actor played a role in “Emmerdale,” a soap opera, a nationally successful soap opera format that has aired since 1972. Sam starred in episodes of Emmerdale that aired in 2019.

According to the British portal “The Mirror”, Sam’s sister Amy confirmed that he died suddenly in the United States.

“Sam was a whirlwind, a unique character to say the least,” he said.

“He really cared about others and was a very sensitive soul. From the honors we’ve received, it’s clear he touched the hearts of many,” added the actor’s sister.

Sam’s death is being investigated by the police but is not being treated as suspicious.

Sam’s family even started online crowdfunding to raise money to bring the actor back to the UK.

“Due to the recent and sudden death of Sam, all donations will be used towards the repatriation of his body from the United States and his burial,” the crowdfunding text reads.
