Boy band member attacked by giant screen in Hong Kong fired

One of the members of boy band Mirror, who was hit by the screen that collapsed at the show last Thursday (7/28), was discharged from hospital on Friday (7/29). Chang Tszfung, 29, was hit by the fourmeter high screen and knocked over after detaching from the steel wires.

The group’s other dancer, Mo Lee Kaiyin, 27, remains in the intensive care unit (ICU). A spokesman for Queen Elizabeth Hospital told the South China Morning Post that he had his second operation on Friday night.

“Due to the need for intubation and anesthesia during surgery, the casualty has been temporarily classified as critical while his survival rate is stable,” the source explained.

Mo Lee KaiYin was hit straight off the big screen at Thursday’s concert and is at risk of becoming a quadriplegic. That means losing movements from the neck down.
