In Germany, police find a body during a dramatic search for a missing person. Now, a 14-year-old boy has made a confession.
Following a possible violent crime among young people, police and fire brigade forces searched a wooded area in Wunstorf, near Hanover, in Lower Saxony, on Wednesday. According to a police spokeswoman, a 14-year-old boy was missing. At lunchtime then the sad certainty. Police found the boy’s body in a ditch. Further details were initially unclear.
“A lifeless person was found, but it remains to be clarified whether it is the missing 14-year-old boy. It would fit in time and place,” police spokesman Dennis Schmitt told German Bild.
Another 14-year-old boy has already admitted to killing him in the forest. As the alleged killer is a minor, the parents were called in for questioning.

On Wednesday morning, among other things, hundreds of police officers searched the area, as announced by the spokeswoman for the emergency services in Hanover. A result was therefore initially not yet. The case originally started as a missing persons case. The 14-year-old’s father turned himself in to the police on Tuesday night and reported his son missing. In view of this, search measures were also initiated with sniffer dogs.

According to the police, there were indications of a possible crime during the search operation underway on Wednesday night. According to the spokeswoman, another 14-year-old said, as part of the investigation, that he killed the missing person. Emergency services therefore adjusted search measures accordingly.
