A Boogaloo Boi arrested by the FBI was pictured with his rifle-mounted grenade launcher outside the Ohio Capitol building days before Joe Biden’s inauguration, images unearthed show.
Aron McKillips, 29, is a right-wing extremist who stockpiled silencers and bomb-making materials and built his own machine guns to “kill as many government officials as possible”.
McKillips was arrested Tuesday by members of a task force from the FBI’s Cleveland Division and is a “known member” of the Boogaloo Bois – a militia group.
And can exclusively show pictures of the suspected extremist on January 17, 2021, where he proudly displayed his grenade launcher on the streets of Columbus, Ohio.
McKillips was among 50 protesters who gathered at the Statehouse 20 months ago. He was armed with a rifle-mounted grenade launcher – mentioned in his criminal complaint during his arrest.
Wearing a skull mask and helmet, he paraded near the state building as snow fell on the ground – and he reached for his horrible weapon.
Other supporters around him were seen speaking through megaphones and also armed with ammunition and guns just weeks after pro-Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in Washington DC.
Ohio State Highway Patrol staff lieutenant Craig Cvetan described the protest as “peaceful” at the time, although some of the protesters were heavily armed.

McKillips also posted a sick meme mocking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul after he was attacked with a hammer by an intruder last week.
An unsealed criminal complaint in Toledo federal court revealed that McKillips regularly spoke to fellow members about his violent plans, according to the Daily Beast.
Investigators claim he wanted to “blow up the IRS,” destroy Facebook headquarters, and stage a copycat attack on the deadly 2017 mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert that killed 58 people.
He also expressed a desire to pipe bomb a local youth welfare office last year over processing fees.
In an audio recording in a signals map room where several federal whistleblowers were located, McKillips said, “The main fucking start was killing feds, killing cops, killing government officials.
‘Kill her. murder her Make them dead. delete them get rid of them. And then it became ‘we’re going to do this peacefully’. Fuck it all.’
He also spoke about “burning down federal buildings” and “shooting federal agents,” adding, “This shit started with killing FBI agents.”
McKillips was also heard complaining that no one wanted to “rob a government building” with him, before saying he wanted to “send an FBI head back to his wife.”

The arrest comes days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi targeted her home of David DePape, 42, who fractured her husband’s skull in a brutal attack.
DePape, an auxiliary jewelry maker, broke into her $6 million San Francisco home and hit Paul, 82, in the head with a hammer after he shouted “Where’s Nancy.”
He reportedly had a “hit list” of other politicians he wanted to attack and an anti-government manifesto.
McKillips shared a disgraceful meme about the brutal attack that left Paul with brain surgery.
Neil McElroy, his court-appointed attorney, confirmed he was due to appear before a judge two days ago.
McKillips was originally arrested by the Sandusky Police Department on New Year’s Eve 2020, with the officer having “several hundred rounds of 5.56mm and 9mm ammunition, body armor, upper AR-15 rifle, parachute flares, medical kits, firearm components and military… found “style equipment” in the back of his car.

The Boogaloo Bois believe in an impending second US civil war, which they refer to as “Boogaloo”.
In 2020, Boogaloo supporters increasingly took part in protests and riots, often attempting to capitalize on high tensions to foment violence and chaos.
The group is named after a 1980s film about breakdancing and is commonly associated with the far right.
While some boogaloo supporters promote white supremacist beliefs, others have also been known to keep Black Lives Matter protests safe.
At least two people who took part in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots have been linked to the movement.
The group believes there is an impending uprising against the government and is actively preparing for the eventuality.

The movement is believed to have originated on 4chan’s imageboard /k/ devoted to discussions of guns and firearms.
In March 2020, police in Potomac, Maryland shot and killed Duncan Lemp while serving a search warrant related to Lemp’s alleged illegal possession of a firearm.
After Lemp’s assassination, individuals shared memes on boogaloo social media groups, listing his name alongside those of black Americans killed by police, such as Breonna Taylor, implying that they all fell victim to the same exposure to police brutality fell.
In December 2020, two partners in a boogaloo network called Boojahideen pleaded guilty to conspiring to support the foreign terrorist organization Hamas in exchange for money to fund boogaloo activities.
In February 2021, the FBI arrested two members of another boogaloo network, the United Pharaoh’s Guard, for criminal activities committed while they provided security, namely during racial justice protests following the killing of protesters and protesters walking alongside them Cars escorted police officers Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky.

The profile – dubbed PrisonOh, meaning Prison Ohio – was linked to a phone number in Ohio, which in turn was linked to McKillips’ home address.
McKillips claimed the government took money from him and he still owes them money before offering to sell the gun with a grenade launcher attached, as well as three flash bangers and a pouch containing three rifle magazines.
He also sent his approval for another Boogaloo member who killed a police officer and claimed he filled the top of his door with tannerite – which would cause it to explode if shot at with a gun.
In April 2021, McKillips is accused of supplying drop-in auto-sears, firearm attachments that turn semi-automatic firearms into fully automatic weapons, to several Boogaloo Bois in Michigan.
Prosecutors say McKillips briefed them on how to do it before performing a functional check on the guns themselves.
He also talked about trading the devices for a silencer, and McKillips later boasted about “distributing machine guns around Michigan.”
McKillips admitted he was “going to shoot someone in the chest with a grenade launcher” and said that if she were arrested “he would not be taken alive” – and claimed he slept with his rifle.
Another source then told investigators that McKillips attended a protest at the Richland County Jail in Mansfield, Ohio, in support of a prisoner who was killed by a correctional officer.
In June, McKillips attended a Black Lives Matter protest in Louisville, providing security and blocking traffic for other protesters.
He also complained that he didn’t have a “federal badge of a corpse,” so his time wasn’t up, before adding, “I’m only here for the violence.”
The extremist supported burning down Walmart, Target and the White House but said: “Leave Sears alone because they have a really good selection of tools and stuff because I’m poor.”
In 2022, McKillips is accused of continuing to build automatic rifles and boasts that he is willing to do “God’s work.”
In April, he posted a picture of himself driving on the freeway with the comment “omw to raid Columbus ATF office,” before posting a picture of an AR-15 pointing at a police car.
Last month he claimed he thought he was being searched by police, adding: “Needless to say there were 2 cops on the corner which I didn’t notice at first so I’ve got my AR on my chest now .”
McKillips is also reportedly a member of the New Sons of Liberty (NSOL) militia group, which advocates violence in pursuit of a far-right future.
