After the incident, TV Globo, the channel that had a contract with José Dumont, issued an official statement announcing the actor’s retirement. Cash:

After the arrest, actor José Dumont was released, but three days later the DCAV (Child and Adolescent Victim Police Station) issued a new arrest warrant for the crime of raping a vulnerable person.
“The request at this time comes as the investigation progresses, which has gathered evidence to prove the rape of a vulnerable person. This was the reason for the initial investigation into the actor, but at that time the police team only obtained a search and seizure warrant for the apartment,” the civil police said in a statement sent to the Splash portal.
