Bolivian President calls for unity against putschists

Bolivia President Luis Arce on Saturday called for the unity of the people and state institutions in the face of destabilizing acts that seek impunity for those responsible for the 2019 coup.

Luis Arce pointed out that the destabilizing actions of the Bolivian right seek to blame the promoters of violence in Santa Cruz department.

Arce appealed to the Bolivians’ unity to defeat them and not repeat the mistakes of 2019.

During a meeting of the Unified Magisterium of Bolivia MAS IPSP, the head of state recommended the unification of the different social sectors at a time when sectors of the right of Santa Cruz called for a protest in defense of former governor Luis Fernando Camacho since December 30 over the coup I imprisoned.

Luis Arce stressed that the search for impunity is the axis of the politics of the elites led by ex-Santa Cruz citizen Luis Fernando Camacho.

According to President Arce, the right-wing sector supporting ex-governor Camacho has been hurt after failing to destabilize his government.

In this sense, Luís Arce recalled that in November 2021, the Right of Santa Cruz promoted the cancellation of the bill fighting the legitimacy of illegal income and tried again between October and November 2022 with the slogan “Census and Housing Census 2023”, yes or yes” and they will keep trying.
