Clem said: “We’re also doing the Isle of Wight Festival and a few other festivals… I think the full list of artists playing Glastonbury hasn’t really been announced yet… but we’re going to play Glastonbury, so maybe you’ve.” get an exclusive there.’

It comes after it was revealed Sir Elton John will close out Sunday night’s event headlining on the Pyramid Stage.

Speculation about the other acts of 2023 continues to mount as excited fans anticipate the iconic event.

Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, Guns N’ Roses also dropped a hint that they might be taking the stage for the festival.

The band consists of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese, and bassist Duff McKagan.

In January, Duff said on Sirius XM radio: “Maybe some of those Iggy shows that we’re going to do.

“And Glastonbury will be iconic for us. We’ll be announcing some shows soon guys.’

Meanwhile, Blondie, formed by Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein, last performed at Glastonbury’s Other Stage in 2014 and smashed their hits on the Pyramid Stage in 1999.

Last year they embarked on their first UK tour in five years in Glasgow.

Debbie told the crowd in the 14,000-seat arena: “This is going to be a long time coming for me. It’s really an honor to be back here.”

The show had been postponed due to Covid but the disappointment of the delay was really cushioned by the band’s incredible performance that night.

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway said Debbie looked “amazing”, while co-host Richard Arnold added: “She has matured beautifully”.

The performance comes after the former Wild Child rocker revealed her hellish days are behind her – when she started knitting.

The former heroin addict has previously opened up about how she “tried everything” during the band’s heyday.

In an interview for The Big Issue with Johnny Marr, former guitarist for The Smiths, the singer said: “I’m excited to see how I’ll react to being on the road again as I haven’t been of for a couple of years years.

“I’ve had to change my behavior over the years, and behavior is very difficult to change.

“On tour these days I’m doing what the women on the front lines would do during the French Revolution. I sit there, knit and rock back and forth.

‘That’s what I do. I’ll bring my knitting needles.”
