A 25-year-old man who went to hospital to be treated for a serious injury to his privates was arrested by police.
The suspect is suspected of sexually assaulting a Canadian tourist at La Défense in France, Nanterre prosecutors told Le Parisien.
At the end of the evening last August, the Canadian is said to have come to the aid of a woman who was being molested by the suspect and another man on a bus, 20 Minutes reports.
Angry, the two men are said to have followed the Canadian as he got off the bus to go to his hotel. The suspects first tried to steal his bag before forcing him to perform oral sex.
The Canadian tourist then violently bit his attacker, who fled with his accomplice, in the penis.
The suspect was then taken to the hospital for treatment. According to information from 20 Minutes, investigations revealed that his DNA matched that of his alleged victim.
Arrested and detained, the two men conjured up more of a consensual sexual relationship with the Canadian. They deny sexually abusing him.
