“Big Dog” refuses to leave the store at closing time and the police are called

On June 9, police in Bradenton, Florida, USA received a call to arrest a “criminal”. And the culprit wasn’t just any crook, but a very cute dog.

The Dollar General Market called the police who, when they tried to close the doors of the place since office hours were already closed, a very persistent customer refused to leave. Bentley, a 135pound (61 kg) Saint Bernard who was undisciplined and refused to leave the facility — all to look for snacks.

According to the New York Post, the big guy circled the site for hours. Officers allowed the walk until the doors were locked, and when they realized the dog had no intention of leaving, they asked police for backup.

The agents came and had fun capturing the villain, who was later reunited with his owner. Bentley’s entire escapades were captured by the store’s internal security cameras.
