Former President Donald Trump has been seething on his Truth Social account as a third batch of secret files belonging to Joe Biden’s vice presidency was found at his Delaware home.
Critics were quick to liken the situation to the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, during which authorities attempted to gather classified material after his attorneys falsely claimed he returned all the documents in response to a grand jury subpoena .
Trump is said to argue that it is far worse that Biden keeps secret documents when he said Mar-A-Lago is “essentially an armed fortress”.
In his latest online posts, the former US President slams the FBI and Justice Department for attacking him over secret files, while sparing “hopeless Joe” as he warns that “the country is in serious trouble.”

“What Biden did was wrong, but he was given a sane and stable special counsel who is sane, inclined to not make waves, is friends with RINOs (Republicans in name only), and not known as a flame-throwing lunatic or Biden is a hater,” Trump said.
“What I did was RIGHT, documents secured in a secure location, doors locked, guards and Secret Service everywhere, security cameras running.
“Essentially an armed fortress, Mar-a-Lago was built that way in the 1920s, with high walls and structures serving as the southern WH.”
Trump argued that while Trump’s position as president was higher, it was worse that Biden kept classified documents since they date from his time as vice president.
“I was President of the US and covered and protected by the Presidential Records Act which is noncriminal and allows and encourages you to speak to NARA we were very nice until the FBI now know of it has been after me for years without a pause or question, RAID Mar-a-Lago,” he said.

“A stupid and probably illegal thing. As President, I have the right to declassify documents, Biden does not. However, the special ‘D.A.’ Jack Smith is a Trump-hating political thug.”
Trump has repeatedly claimed that he secretly released the documents he took home, but that claim has been refuted by former senior officials, and his attorneys have made no similar allegations in court.
“The Boxes Hoax case against me should be dropped immediately. I did nothing wrong!’ he finished.
Later in the day, Trump is seen beating prosecutors between the two cases, calling them “sick thugs.”

Trump goes on to claim that the FBI is in all caps “CROOKED, CORRUPT and BROKEN” and sends a stern warning to Americans that the country is in “serious trouble.”

Biden’s attorneys said they found the third batch of classified documents Saturday and said they found five additional pages at his home Thursday night that were marked as classified.
It brings the total of six classified documents found at Biden’s Delaware home since the first was found in the garage.
The total number of classified documents from Biden’s days as vice president is now up to two dozen.
Republican lawmakers did not take Saturday’s revelations lightly
His personal attorneys discovered the documents in the room next to the garage but didn’t have permission to see them, so they had to consult Richard Sauber, the President’s special counsel.
“Because I have a security clearance, I drove to Wilmington Thursday night to facilitate the delivery of the document that the President’s personal attorney found Wednesday to the Justice Department,” Sauber said, according to Fox News.
“While handing it over to the DOJ officials accompanying me, five additional pages of classification markings were discovered among the accompanying material, for a total of six pages. The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.
“The President’s attorneys acted promptly and voluntarily to make the Penn Biden documents available to the Archives and the Wilmington documents to the DOJ,” he said.
Biden’s personal attorney, Robert Bauer, defended the delay in releasing the information, saying the president’s legal team “attempted to balance the importance of public transparency, where appropriate, with the established norms and limitations needed to protect the integrity of the investigation.” are”.
“These considerations require avoiding the public release of details relevant to the investigation while it is ongoing,” he said in a statement.
The latest discovery comes just days after two more sets were found. The first set of sensitive files was found in a DC office for his think tank, and as the Biden administration dodged questions about whether they tracked down other records.

Republican lawmakers did not take Saturday’s revelations lightly.
“Wait, I thought WH said Thursday the search was complete and there were no more documents,” Josh Hawley wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Marsha Blackburn also jumped in, writing: “Another batch of classified documents was found in Biden’s private home. They keep coming back.’
Sen. Rick Scott wrote: “Either @JoeBiden is a complete hypocrite or completely clueless. Probably both. We need to get to the bottom of this. How long has he had these… 6+ years? Time for accountability.’
Senator John Kennedy identified several problems within the current administration and called for accountability. He wrote: ‘Just like the #BidenBorderCrisis, the story of Biden’s classified documents is too big for mainstream media to ignore – and the American people want answers.’
Earlier in the week it was reported that in November 2022, attorneys for the president discovered documents in his former office at the Penn-Biden Center in Washington DC, which he used after his stint as vice president.
The documents were discovered in a locked cupboard as the lawyers were clearing the office to move out.
The White House acknowledged that Biden’s lawyers found 10 documents with classified markings in an old Washington DC think tank office, and the president was peppered with questions about the discovery.
The classified documents, which appear to have come from the Obama administration, were found on November 2 – ahead of the midterm elections – although news of the documents didn’t emerge until months later.
